Ground Zero Entertainment doing business as Ground Zero Laser Tag operates based on  scheduled appointments.  When a customer has an appointment scheduled, this is a confirmation that the event will take place both on behalf of the customer as well as Ground Zero Laser Tag.  By having the event scheduled, this eliminates another customer from booking their event during the same time frame, thus blocking out the possibility of Ground Zero Laser Tag from booking another event during the same time period. In the situation that an event must be rescheduled or cancelled, the following policy is in place.  When a customer books their event, they are abiding by the policy set forth in this document.  A link to this policy is provided in the following areas should it be needed to be reviewed. Ground Zero Laser Tag website under each of the package pricing selections. Customer invoice that is prepared at the time of booking. Booking confirmation email that the customer receives at the time of booking. In most cases, if an event need to be rescheduled or cancelled is due to weather conditions.  To help alleviate the need to be concerned about these this type of weather, it is strongly advised that customers host their events indoors.  Holding an event outside opens the event to the possibility of cancellation, poor turnout, lack of attendance, unsuitable ground conditions, mosquitoes and etc. The equipment used by Ground Zero Laser Tag is capable of being used in minor rain and colder weather so an event may not be cancelled by Ground Zero Laser Tag in the event of these type of weather conditions.  However, Ground Zero Laser Tag does not hold events outdoors during the period of October 15 th  thru April 30 th  due to the extreme chance of unsuitable weather and extreme cold which can be hazardous to the participants and Field Marshalls working the events. Ground Zero Laser Tag Cancellation Request Although it is very rare that Ground Zero Laser Tag would be required to cancel an event.  Should Ground Zero Laser Tag be required to do so, the following policies are in place: Cancellation by Ground Zero Laser Tag due to weather & event is scheduled to be held indoors - A full refund of the event invoice total or the total funds held as a deposit on the event will be issued to the customer.  A date to reschedule the event can be negotiated between the customer and Ground Zero Laser Tag. Cancellation by Ground Zero Laser Tag due to weather & event is scheduled to be held outside – In this situation, based on recommendations as stated above of holding events indoors to help prevent this sort of thing from happening.  The customer will receive a full refund of the event invoice total minus a 20% cancellation fee.  However, should the event be rescheduled then the cancellation fee will be applied to the new rescheduled event date. Cancellation by Ground Zero Laser Tag due to another reason other than weather – A full refund of the event invoice total or the total funds held as a deposit on the event will be issued to the customer.  A date to reschedule the event can be negotiated between the customer and Ground Zero Laser Tag. Customer 24 Hour Cancellation Grace Period To provide time for the customer booking an an event to review the cancellation this policy, a period of not more than 24 hours from the time and date the event was booked and an event confirmation email was forwarded to the customer is provided.  If a cancellation request is required to be made during this grace period, then this must be made via email to info@groundzerolasertag.com . Customer Event Reschedule Request In the situation where a customer who has an event booked and confirmed, a request can be made via email (info@groundzerolasertag.com) or telephone (1.855.693.6543) to do so without penalty to the customer.  The rescheduling of an event can only be made if an opening is available with Ground Zero Laser Tag. Customer Event Cancellation Request If a customer has a need to cancel their event that was previously booked, confirmed and is beyond the 24 Hour Cancellation Grace Period as described above, the following policy is in place.  This is because the event session could have been booked by another customer but was blocked because it was booked by someone else.  A request to cancel an event must be made via email to info@groundzerolasertag.com If the event is 7 days or more away - The customer will receive a full refund of their deposit minus 20% of invoice total as a cancellation fee. If the event is less than 7 days away – The customer will forfeit 100% of their security deposit to a maximum of $250.00 as a cancellation fee.
